The Representative Buyer Specialist Virtual Assistant research, select and purchase quality products and materials. Also, The Representative Buyer Specialist Virtual Assistant build relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales. The Representative Buyer Specialist Virtual Assistant process requisitions and updating management on the status of orders. The Representative Buyer Specialist Virtual Assistant update inventory and managing stock levels and also arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

Representative Buyer Specialist Virtual Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Meet the needs of production by ensuring a continuous supply of quality materials in a cost effective manner.
  • Must to prompt resolution of any quality, delivery, and supplier relationship issues at the root-cause level to ensure materials maintain a ship-to-use status.
  • Manage cost and inventory levels (modifiers and pricing) of assigned material.
  • Maintain and manage inventory turns, manage obsolescence, prepare outage reports and manage aged inventory.
  • Responsible for cost reductions, inventory levels and opportunity for lot size adjustments.
  • Maintain strong, mutually beneficial supplier relationships on quality, pricing, delivery and all other terms of business.
  • Provide customers service on quote requests, analyze data on bids, and recommend buying options, sampling and other information requests for internal customers in a timely manner.

Representative Buyer Specialist Virtual Assistant Requirements:

  • High school diploma or business related degree.
  • Solid experience as a buyer agent or applicable role.
  • Familiarity with computer equipment and peripherals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Ability outstanding organizational and time management.
  • Excellent customer service.
