The Event Manager Coordinator is responsible for managing the calendar of all events and meetings in spaces maintained. The Event Manager Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the accuracy of the event management scheduling software, communicating policies, assisting clients with necessary approvals, soliciting feedback from clients, The Event Manager Coordinator oversees the audio visual inventory utilized in events. Also, includes a preventative maintenance program, documenting equipment failures or malfunctions, initiating necessary repairs, recommending purchases or replacements, ensuring security of equipment, and reporting any disappearances or vandalism. The Event Manager Coordinator ensures safe working conditions and practices for all audio visual equipment users.
Event Manager Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Organize events to sustain relationships with key clients.
- Supervises the Events Management Assistant and all other assigned staff.
- Coordinates and ensures that all scheduled activities have adequate and appropriate space allocated and that services needed to support the scheduled activities are provided in an efficient and effective manner.
- Responsible for reserving, organizing, coordinating, monitoring necessary logistical requirements and supervising related staff for events.
- Initiates and directs cancellation of any event not conducted within client guideline.
- Maintains currency with trends in event management programs, development, and their application in practice.
Event Manager Coordinator Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in event management, event services, event coordination, event production and audio visual technology
- Experience in partnership development and event marketing.
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
