The Security and Loss Prevention Supervisor also utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancement and increase efficiency. The Security and Loss Prevention Supervisor also develop driven business cases using data collection, through database polling or data entry and conduct analysis generating strategic and tactical interpretations which receive the required approval, financial and technical resources, and the support of appropriate management to enact desired changes. Security and Loss Prevention Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervise, conducts and manages investigations into security-related matters.
- Performs security audits/assessments to identify security lapses and risks.
- Conducts security awareness and standards training of staff.
- Supervise building and property maintenance including preventive and corrective maintenance, term contract works, unscheduled and scheduled maintenance.
- Advises local management / procurement regarding industry best practices with manned guarding.
- Actively coordinates and assists management with strategies and solutions for security-related matters.
- Supervise facilities to ensure that they area adequate for business needs, well maintained and that we are mitigating any risk of loss.
- Oversee fleet management for the organization, including programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal of company vehicles and equipment
Security and Loss Prevention Supervisor Requirements:
- High School diploma.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Experience in security, loss prevention, law enforcement, and/or military experience,
- Solid experience conducting dishonest employee interviews.
- Supervisory experience in a security environment.
- Experience administering policies and procedures.
- Solid experience in a fast-paced corporate and/or start-up environment.
- Commitment to ongoing self-development and learning
