The Reliability and Maintenance Engineer Virtual Assistant has primary responsibility to implement operations reliability strategy and also will serve as well as support the reliability organizationals goals. TThe Reliability and Maintenance Engineer Virtual Assistant leads development and implementation of facility and equipment reliability strategies, solving reliability challenges and availability losses through application of reliability technology. The Reliability and Maintenance Engineer Virtual Assistant supports the development of technical documentation (including but not limited to designs, testing, calculations, reports, standards, etc. The Reliability and Maintenance Engineer Virtual Assistant, assist an train to the staff with the development of procedures. Also, provides ongoing technical support for project activities within areas such as operations, maintenance, Testing/diagnostics, Regulatory, etc. TThe Reliability and Maintenance Engineer Virtual Assistant, provide field engineering oversight for activities such as commissioning, testing, inspections etc. under direct supervision.
The Reliability and Maintenance Engineer Virtual Assistant Responsibilities:
- Decrease equipment failure losses to meet the site reliability.
- Perform Root Cause Investigations for unplanned events to prevent recurrence and drive root cause effectiveness initiatives.
- Create facility reliability opportunity lists and close gaps by implementing solutions.
- Lead reliability improvement projects and activities to resolve equipment issues.
- Support annual budgeting process by identifying key reliability investment needs.
- Trains the team on maintenance programs and procedures.
- Performs investigations and implements corrective actions
- Working knowledge and application of business concepts, procedures, and practices.
The Reliability and Maintenance Engineer Virtual Assistant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, engineering or related
- Solid experience as a reliability or maintenance engineer.
- Ability to demonstrate the unique technical skills and core competencies for this engineering level established & documented by the organization.
- Background or working experience with controls.
