The Legal Support Administrative Assistant is responsible for conducting legal research. Also The Legal Support Administrative Assistant develop employee‑facing materials providing information on legal process, and developing and maintaining an automated process flow for data input and tracking. The Legal Support Administrative Assistant assist attorneys with answering phones, mailing and arranging document delivery. Also, The Legal Support Administrative Assistant manages calendars, reserving conference and training rooms, scheduling and booking travel and stocking office supplies. The Legal Support Administrative Assistant prepare and proofread legal correspondence, reports, and documents for accuracy.
Legal Support Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain attorney and staff files, case files, member files, office files and resource materials in accordance with recognized procedures and standards.
- Assist attorneys with inquiries.
- Support attorneys with research and special projects and complete ongoing regular projects.
- Process information and reports.
- Help attorneys with preparation of materials.
Legal Support Administrative Assistant Requirements:
- High school diploma (or equivalent), post-secondary education.
- Experience in legal services.
- Solid time management skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of fundamental administrative and clerical procedures.
- Ability to provide timely and accurate follow through on projects, attorney or staff requests.
