Under the general supervision of the Senior Product Manager or Director of IoT, performs coordination and project management of IoT and IIoT pre-sales and post-sales technical support activities. This includes responsibility for proposing and helping to implement, technical alternatives (including pros/cons and cost analysis), technical solutions, selecting and assembling pieces of the complete solution, assisting in functional and system testing, and delivery of the final solution and acceptance by the customer.
Suggests, participates in, and produces marketing materials, product documentation, customer presentations, and serves as one of the key interfaces to prospects and customers. Delivers project description, requirements, design, and implementation specifications and plans as well as schedules, and is responsible (along with the team) in completing activities on-time, on-schedule, with agreed-upon quality targets and metrics.
Performs market and deep customer analysis resulting in sales “design-ins” (wins). Works with System Integrators and Value-Added Resellers as well as OEM customers, including recruitment, training, and other duties as assigned. Works with VARS, SI’s, and Installers to implement IoT and IIoT solutions. Stays aware of and abreast of trends, new products, new technologies, and new techniques and advises Management on potential adoption or implementation, threats, and opportunities.

Develop and implement end-to-end Industrial IoT Solutions using Company’s IoT Platform.
Apply knowledge of sensing technology, edge and gateway computers, servers, network architecture, cloud computing, and software application development to design and implement high-value, client-based digital solutions to improve customer outcomes.
Work directly with customers to help identify business requirements and to demonstrate ROI when implementing Company’s customized IIoT solutions.
Visit customer sites for end-to-end IoT installation, implementation and integration testing.
Work closely with the Company hardware team to ensure correct exercising and implementation of hardware and RF architecture(s).
Learn and apply knowledge of IT/OT convergence and IT best practices
Scope, plan, resource and execute solutions to exceed client’s expectations
Learn and understand key IoT use cases and UI/UX design considerations and translate unique requirements into a fully functional IoT implementation(s). Will regularly work in agile mode with evolving requirements and will need to resolve platform and application performance issues for our customers.
You will lead technical presentations and proof of concepts to explain and demonstrate the value and capabilities of Company’s products and services to our customers.
Work closely with the Product Manager, internal cross-functional teams, and customer representatives throughout requirement generation, solution development, implementation, and solution monitoring phases.
Help shape current and future product development and marketing strategies by providing regular feedback to Company’s product management, sales, marketing and engineering teams.
Attend Meetings and/or briefings as necessary.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Travel is a requirement of this position.

Knowledge and implementation of IoT wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, LoraWAN, NB-IoT, Zigbee, etc. Knowledge of applicability of each to different environments.
Expertise in identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance requirements, and experience integrating them into edge, cloud, and hybrid solutions.
Experience with continuous integration and agile software development preferred.

REQUIREMENTS, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business with software engineering experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also qualify for the above requirements.
At least 5 years of increasingly responsible solutions engineering, pre-and-post-sales engineering, field application engineering, and/or engineering design experience.
Strong written and oral speaking skills, strong presentation skills.
